My husband works for Furniture Row and has to deal with you whiny little customers daily. He sweats all day long assisting customers with their purchases and then get treated like ***, just because you may have had a bad day, but you take it out on him.

Employees don't purposely break your items, its an accident, and may happen in shipping.

Not something that can be helped at times.Things are not going to go exactly the way you spoiled people want it to, life is not perfect, there will be hiccups. Grow up and deal with the issues like adults, instead of whiny little brats.

I agree with you 100%. I use to work for FR at a very young age right out of high school.

Taught me a lot about life and how humans actually are. I did my best to give everyone the EXACT, proper information to customers. For example, the five year extended Protection Plan, not warranty, is, on sofas, for rips, tears, burns, pet and human stains. Nothing else, that is it.

That is through us. The cushions and backs areย through the manufacturer and you have to deal with them. That is just the way it works. On tables, it covers rings and heat marks, tears on seat cushions, and scratches that break the finish.

When I tell you that exactly and then you say I said something different, I get upset. I told every customer the truth I interacted with. But I guess it doesn't matter because people will find something to complain about to get something for free. I even went as far to do things my manager told me not to do to extra help the customer, risking my job for what I thought was righteous.

That didn't even matter.

Yes the paychecks were good, but it wasn't worth the headaches at the end of the day. Now I'm in school for nursing and best decision I've made.

Of course employees don't purposefully break or damage furniture; however, if I buy a sofa for 2000 dollars I expect it to be in new condition upon arrival or if damaged, for it to be replaced. I don't think customers are wrong to be upset if a situation is not being resolved properly, and I bet you would be a bit "whiny" too if you spent your hard-earned money on a new piece of furniture and it was damaged.

Your husband works in the customer service industry.

He's going to deal with unreasonable, angry customers more often than not.

He needs to learn to compartmentalize and not being it home with him since it's clear from your little tirade that you are emotional and just can't handle hearing about it. Perhaps you are the one who needs to quit whining because this website is supposed to be for actual complaints against a company to warn consumers, not some repository for comments from a spouse who is upset about how her husband is being treated at work.
